About SASTCON 2022

The School of Applied Sciences and Technology (SAST) Annual National Conference known as SASTCON is a long established gathering of research fellows. This year's conference is the 14th in the series and it will be holding on the 15th - 17th June, 2022 . The theme of the conference is "RESEARCH AND INNOVATION: TOOLS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT".

On behalf of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for SASTCON 2022, we are delighted to welcome you ahead of the conference, which is to hold in Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria. As you all know, SASTCON is noted for research in emerging trends in science and technology, which gives an excellent field for the research community to discuss our common challenges and possibilities to tackle them.

Instructions

Abstract Submission

To submit an abstract, participants are expected to pay the appropriate conference registration fee. Please note that the payment of the fee is a prerequisite to processing the abstract.

The abstract should be of 250 words typed in Microsoft Word Times New Romans, Font size 12, and in good English. Please the paper must not exceed 15 pages including figures, tables, equations, graphs and chart excluding refrences, in the APA style.

Abstracts should be submitted in advance to this email address sast@auchipoly.edu.ng not later than 12th June, 2022.

Poster Presentation

Presentation 1

Authors submitting posters should download the Template and use it for the preparation of their posters and submit when completed here not later than 12th June, 2022.

Posters not conforming to the standard template will be rejected.

PowerPoint Presentation

Presentation 2

Authors submitting PowerPoint document (PPT) for physical presentation should download the Template and use it for the preparation of their work.

Submit them when completed not later than 12th June, 2022.

Voice-over-PPT

Presentation 3

Authors also submitting voice-over-PPT for presentation should download the PPT Template and use it for voice over presentation of their work.

Authors are required download a guide on "How to create a voice-over-PPT" and note that it must not be more than 10mins.

Full Article

Research work

The full article should be arranged in the order provided in the Paper Template. Manuscripts that do not conform to the recommended format, deadline, and payment of prescribed fees will be rejected. Submit when completed not later than 12th June, 2022.

The full article to be presented during the conference and accepted for publication after standard peer-review process will be published in the Journal of Applied Sciences & Technology (JAST).
